I’ve always wondered what part Nuclear Deterrence, with it’s reliance on people believing the our leaders could be sufficiently crazy and psycopathic enough to launch a nuclear strike killing millions, has on how our leaders are forced to act.
Would sane leaders be a liability in that world? What price having to have insane leaders?
